Galaxy West produces feature films, short subject films, corporate videos, and TV commercials.
What makes our studio advantageous to the filmmaker, are the following features:
1.) Two large overhead garage style doors, that easily accommodate film equipment trucks, as well as large props
2.) Ample outdoor parking
3.) A superior location, just a few miles from Interstate 390, and the NY State Thruway (I-90), as well as the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport.
4.) In addition, we are just down the street from Monroe Community College (MCC), as well as the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).
5.) Finally, numerous hotels, restaurants, grocery stores, and other retail establishments are merely a stones throw away.
In 2017, Galaxy West was honored to host the shooting and production headquarters of the full length motion picture, “The Tomorrow Man”, starring John Lithgow and Blythe Danner.
Galaxy West boasts a 4,500 square foot studio for shooting productions.
